Track Time At Nepean This Sunday

press release

The new 2008 Speedway Kart season is just about to start and the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club will be holding the practice/fun day this Sunday (February 16) at the superb Nepean Motorsports complex.

It’s the first official practice day for 2008 and if last year is any indication this year will be simply sensational.

After a long and sometimes wet off season all the drivers and team owners are eager go get back into race mode and this Sunday’s practice is the first time they can get onto the Nepean Motorsports track in preparation for the tough up coming racing year. Its open to all AKA licensed drivers and it is expected that all the top karters will be at the Nepean track this Sunday.

Many new race machines have been built up and with most karts sporting new colours, this is the only opportunity to get that vital practise before NSWSKC round 1 set for Sunday February 24, the Champion of Champions meeting.

The NSW speedway karts have been building up great numbers especially with the junior divisions, Midgets, Rookie’s and Juniors. The speedway karts are certainly producing the speedway champions of the future.

The Nepean Raceway is situated on Rickards Road Castlereagh and practise starts at 10am with racing from 11am.
