Saturday Night Series Launched by ProKart Australia

The Powered by Honda ProKart Australia Saturday Night Series is set to blast into action for the very first time at Wollongong City Raceway (South Coast of NSW) this Saturday Night (February 23).

Set up as a 12 round series, the Powered by Honda ProKart Australia Saturday Night Series is opened for both junior and senior Go Kart drivers, starting from the Midget right up to Rotax class and everything in-between.

“Our Saturday Night Series is opened to all Go Karters, no matter what organisation they are affiliated with, and this is set up as a series, and each drivers is put into their respective classes based on the engine size they come under,” explained ProKart Australia and Wollongong City Raceway event coordinator Ryan Stott.

“For the spectators the Saturday Night Series also provides plenty of entertainment, as the race format is put into one tight package, where there is non-stop action out on the track, so there is plenty on offer with the running of this series both on and off the track.”

The race format for the Powered by Honda ProKart Australia Saturday Night Series consists of both practice and qualifying session, then three heat races, followed by pre finals, and the all important finals.

On track action at Wollongong City Raceway for the opening round of the Powered by Honda ProKart Australia Saturday Night Series is to begin from 2pm and then flow into the night.
           
Wollongong City Raceway is located on the corner of the Princess Highway and West South Dapto Road at Kembla Grange.
