F100 Titan Series Continues In '08

The 2008 Formula 100 Titan Series looks set to expand again with what looks like to be a tremendous and talented field of drivers ready to contest round one at the Oakleight Kart Club on April 5/6.

Once again there are some fantastic prizes to be won. Two AX9 Arrow B-Max chassis will be won in the Light and Heavy divisions. A Formula 100 engine will be up for grabs for the fastest over 40's competitor.

The Formula 100 Light catergory will be sponsored by long time karting supporter Pettaras Press, Formula 100 Heavy will be sponsored by Transwest Insurance and the Over 40's division will be sponsored by Remo Racing.

All rounds of the series will include timed qualifying and the pole position winner will be awarded a set of tyres thanks to sponsor Mr Sandblaster. Geelong Extreme Karts will once again continue as a sponsor of the series in 2008.

A good indication of the popularity of Formula 100 in 2008 was shown at Geelong's February club day races. Sixteen karts gridded up for heat one and, in fact, Formula 100 was the largest class at the meeting!

Persons wishing to find information on the 2008 series simplly need to ring Dom Albanese on 0425 707 525.
