Elvis Enjoys Oran Park Enduro Win

press release

The opening of the Endurance Racing Season for 08’ couldn’t have been better for the Phoenix Endurance chassis known as Elvis.

Further development since last year has brought the chassis to new heights of performance. Early testing by the Dynamite Team at Newcastle (who are competing for outright honours in the TEKA Championship) suggested this could be the revelation of the 08’ series!

Round 1 of the AKA Endurance Series was held at Oran Park earlier this month. The weather was unpredictable with a wet, intermediate, and dry track all being experienced in practice. Regardless of the conditions the Phoenix felt exceptional and dominated throughout ending up with the quickest lap time by nearly half a second.

The Phoenix qualified fastest and jumped off the front row to take a commanding lead which was held throughout most of the race. By the end of the day facing all conditions the chassis’ speed remained unchallenged and Dynamite took the win by 32seconds with fastest lap of the race.

Not bad when you add the fact that the day prior in the Prokart 1000 the Phoenix took pole, posted the fastest lap and came home a close 2nd place.

The bar has been lifted! On behalf of Dynamite, thanks to Phoenix Race Karts, Colmac Excavations and Property Central Estate Agents.
