News Update - Junior Rotax

Rotax Update #5

IKD would like to inform all Junior Max competitors of the following so that there is no confusion:-

TYRES
The tyre for Formula JMA is currently MG Red.

IKD is putting forward a proposal to the AKA to change the tyre to MOJO but this process must first be approved by the AKA.

AKA press releases stating that Formula JMA had changed to MOJO were not accurate and have been rescinded.

Competitors are allowed to practice on the MOJO tyre as it is an AKA approved tyre but any racing of Formula JMA must be on MG Red until further notice.

JUNIOR MAX CYLINDERS
The new Junior Max cylinders are with the AKA for approval.

As soon as they are approved by the AKA, IKD will initiate the exchange program. The exchange cylinders are at IKD waiting for the green light.

In the mean time, competitors are allowed back on the track with existing Junior Max engines for practice or racing at club events.

As soon as the whole Junior Max situation is resolved, IKD will be implementing our planned promotion and re-launch of Junior Max racing in Australia.
