Some New 125cc Engines From Europe

Two new 125cc engines have come out of Italy recently, from IAME and VKR.

From IAME comes the new 2008 version Parilla Reedster KF motor developed  from the successful
MY-2007 model. The company says the new version has improvements for both performance and reliability plus new styling in the IAME-Parilla colours.

The VKR (Villa Kart Racing) is the first engine in a new project by famed Italian kart engine tuner Mauro Villa. It has some rather unique features such as a backward rake for the cylinder position (to open up the angle between the reed block and scavenging ports), internal (left side) chain drive pickup and a pressurised oil circuit for internal lubrication.
