Toowoomba & Lockyer Valley Kart Club’s own Brendan Nelson and James Greenwood, who are currently 1st and 2nd in Clubman Heavy division, will compete with other local Downs & West drivers against up to 35 visiting Karting Gladiators from throughout South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

Lismore’s Female Gladiator, Abbey Kellie, returns to Queensland as leader of the current Clubman Light Gladiators’ point score and together with Kristine Doherty and Samantha Bagoly (10th and 11th respectively) will continue to take on all challengers in the hunt for more valuable series points. “If this weekend’s racing is like the opening Gladiators’ round in Warwick last month, we’re sure to see some great wheel-to-wheel, action packed Kart racing. Our company is exceptionally proud to be partnering with regional sporting clubs” said Harrington Doyle’s Managing Partner, Craig Doyle.

After Toowoomba, the 5 round series will then move on to continue the battle in Gympie and Lismore, with the Colosseum Finale to be held at Ipswich Kart Club’s Willowbank Raceway on August, 2.

The Toowoomba & Lockyer Valley Kart Club’s Greer Park Raceway is located at Snellings Road via Postman’s Ridge Road, just off the Warrego Highway, Helidon. Practice is on Saturday with racing on Sunday.
