Tanti's F/Ford Debut

After successfully completing 4 years of karting and reaching podiums at National and State levels it was time to try something new for Nicholas Tanti, and Formula Ford seemed to be a good start.

After finishing 3rd in Senior National Light category in the Australian Karting Championiships at Launceston, Tanti focused on his debut race in Formula Ford at Wakefield Park.

His aim was to complete the weekend successfully and finish in the top 10. Drving with the Australian Anglo Motorsport team based in Seven Hills, Tanti did just that. He qualified 22nd of 24 starters, then progressively moved up the board with 19th in race 1, 12th in race 2 and 9th (which turned into 8th after disqualifications ahead) in race 3.

"I had a great weekend and achieved my aim of top 10. I'm looking forward to the next meeting" he said.
