Kuhlmann & Ward Shine At Super Sprint 4s

Nathan Kuhlmann and Rick Ward put in dominant performances during the fifth round of the ProKart Australia Super Sprint 4’s Series last Saturday (June 7) at Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway, near Blacktown in NSW, where they supported the Eastern Creek 24 Hour event.

Kuhlmann in the Senior Sportsman and Ward in the Senior 175kg classes both had dominating runs by qualifying on top, taking out all three of their heat races, and topped it off by taking out the final in their respective categories.

Cameron Hodgskin from the Junior Sportsman class took home the win in the final and claimed a heat race win and qualified in second position. His sister, Jessica, topped the time sheets during qualifying, took out two heat race wins on the day and she ended up finishing second behind her younger sibling in the final.

Tyler Hunt from the Senior 145kg class was the other winner and took home victory in the final and managed to break the dominance of form driver Mitchell Hewitt in that class.

The sixth round of the ProKart Australia Super Sprint 4’s Series will be held at The Manning Valley Kart Track, near Taree (Mid North Coast) on the weekend of July 4 – 5 supporting the Taree 500 event.
