Free Kart School - BYO Tyre and Carby

press release

When starting out in a new sport the experiences gained in the first twelve months are invaluable. Unfortunately some of that experience comes from mistakes and some comes from people willing to pass on bits and pieces of information.

The Observed Licence Test is a great introduction to a club and the format of a race meeting but once you get started, more information is needed.

We have developed a basic introduction to the sport dealing mainly with the kart and the basics involved with it. The first TD Racing Kart School will be run on Friday the 11th of July at 7.30pm and will cover the basics of Kart Maintenance, Engine Maintenance, Chassis Settings and Scrutineering.

The school is designed for people that have their own kart and have been in the sport for a limited time (less than twelve months). It will be hands on and will include a hand out developed over many years of experience.

Numbers will be limited to ten. If you would like to be involved please ring me (Craig Denton) on 0419718672 or email me ctd@chariot.net.au.

It does not matter what kart you drive, what class you run or how old you are - if we can help with just one or two pieces of information then that will hopefully be of benefit.

The cost for the evening is free and you will be required to bring a tyre and a carburetor.
