Hyper Wins In Wet & Dry

press release

Hyper driver Dean Crooke had a great day at the Winton Superkart round on Sunday. In very testing conditions he held off strong challenges from Russ Occhipinti in the dry and Aaron Gazzola in the wet to take the round win.

Only 3 weeks after Hyper drivers Mark Wicks and Sean Whitfield won the Nationals at the Island on both dry and wet tracks, Crooke, driving on both dry and wet conditions on the twisty Winton circuit, once again proved the capabilities of the Hyper Racer chassis in all conditions.

With both Occhipinti and Gazzola having torn their wets up in the first wet race and having to switch to a second set of wets for the final, Crooke's Hyper was able to win both wet heats on one set of tyres and finish with the tyres in near perfect condition. Crooke said after the race "It's perfect, so balanced it drives itself. I could do that all day. That was fun".
