2008 Qld Closed Titles

Fine weather saw off the start of official practice on Friday 26th September at Cooloola Coast Kart Club and continued through the weekend.

With 244 entrants this was always going to be a challenging meet for such a new club, but the small band of volunteers rallied to the cause and produced an outstanding race meeting with this Closed Titles having the largest number of entrants to date. There was action packed racing in all classes competing on our great track. Cooloola Coast Kart Club would like to thank Greg and Annette from Southern Cross Motor Sport for all their support without them the success would not have been as great.  We would like to also thank our Class sponsors for their contributions to the Titles also. The preparation for a Title is enormous and without the support of members and officials this could not be possible. Thank you to our AKA Officials who did an outstanding job. Our club is looking forward to the Qld Open State Championships on 3, 4 and 5th of July 2009. Hope to see you here.
