Follow the Aussies In Spain

Remo Racing Team Australia is off to Spain on Tuesday November 4th to compete in the 2008 IAME International Challenge. The six drivers from Australia will be competing at the Alcañiz International Circuit in Spain on November 8 and 9, and you can leave your messages of support by clicking HERE.

The two-three hour endurance races will see the Australia team compete with 13 other countries. Each country has 2 teams competing at this prestigeous event. These 28 teams will compete aboard identical FA Victory karts, designed by Fernando Alonso and powered by a 125cc Leopard X30 engine.  The team will be well supported with the experience of Remo Luciani as Team Manager.

The 6 Aussies competing Ryan Sanderson and Adam Hughes (who won fully sponsored drives at the 2007 Final Shootout) plus Grant Smith, John Grother, Lee Mitchener and Brett Fortainer (selected by Remo Luciani for their loyalty and support of the Leopard Class).

The www.leopardengine.com website will be posting updates and day-to-day reports from the drivers from this Tuesday 4th November, so check there (and KartSportNews) regularly.
