Brabham 2nd in PSC Championship

press release

Matthew Brabham finished 4th in the final round of the NSW Premier State Cup held at the Eastern Creek raceway in Sydney yesterday. The result secured Matthew’s 2nd place in the overall point’s battle for the Junior Clubman Title.

The Premier State Cup was held over four races in NSW during the year and Matthew was in contention for the title right down to the last race. An unfortunate DNF in race three ultimately was the deciding factor in the battle for the title, but fighting for the championship was excellent experience for Matthew and will help him later in his career.

“Today was a good result as I was clipped on the first lap and nearly spun out, when all the dust had settled I was back in 10th so to come back to 4th was OK.” Matthew said later. “I enjoyed the PSC series and to finish 2nd in the points in Junior Clubman was a big effort for our team so many thanks to my Dad and DP Karts for all the help.”
