Tassie Tiger Takes Out State Title

The Tasmanian State Titles saw Rookies Brody Appleby, Damon Strongman and Mitchell Griffin fight it out for the final placings.

The final race started with Strongman on pole, Appleby second and Matthew Smith third.  The Rookies set off with a blistering pace which saw Appleby and Strongman pull away from the rest of the field to a handy lead, with Strongman stuck to the back of Appleby for the entire race as if they were Siamese twins. With only two laps to go Strongman pulled out to make a move on Appleby only to find that a momentary fuel problem dropped him back into the grips of Griffin.

Final placings were 1st Brody Appleby, 2nd Mitchell Griffin, 3rd Damon Strongman.
