Twilight Nationals Primed for Wollongong City Raceway this Saturday

If it’s Go Karting action that you’re after this weekend then look no further than Wollongong City Raceway, near Kembla Grange on the South Coast. This Saturday (November 29) the annual Twilight Nationals is to be fought out between a range of Junior and Senior classes.

The Twilight Nationals is to consist of multiple Junior and Senior classes, ranging from Junior Clubman right through to Senior Rotax and everything in-between. So, there is definitely plenty of variety for every ones likes this Saturday.

With a race format of practice and qualifying sessions, followed by three heat races, a pre final and a final for all competing drivers in their respective classes, the Twilight Nationals is bound to feature plenty of exciting action around the Wollongong City Raceway circuit.

There has been plenty of interest about this year’s running of the Twilight Nationals to the point where there has been a number of entries received from both Victoria and Queensland.

At the Twilight Nationals, that is also the battle for the ProKart Nationals and the coveted green Nationals plate in each class, the top 5 finishers in the Junior finals receive trophies, while the top 3 in the Senior final receive trophies.

Support for the Twilight Nationals has come from a number of sponsors and special thanks must go out to: Karting World, Illawarra Kart Centre, Leisure Coast Limousines, John Daly Debt Recovery, Professional Piano Relocations, CRG Race Centre / RKS Engines, In2Karts, Harrigan Ford, and Auto Pro – Campbelltown, for all their generous support of this year’s event.

In what shapes to be a very exciting Twilight Nationals there are a number of prizes, donated from sponsors, to be given away. Also, there will be a collection going around in the support of the Kidz Wish Foundation throughout the event.
 
The Twilight Nationals is to also feature the 10th and final round of the ProKart Australia Super Sprint 4’s Series. The Super Sprint 4’s Series is made up of both Junior and Senior classes and the race format is practice and qualifying sessions, followed by three heat races, a pre final, and the all important Final. Driver’s to watch out for are Kaylah Tennyson and Jessica Hodgskin in the Juniors and Brendan Long and Nathan Kuhlmann in the Seniors.

On track action on Saturday is scheduled to kick off from 2pm and go right through to 9pm.

Wollongong City Raceway is located on the corner of the Princes Highway and West Dapto Road at Kembla Grange on the South Coast of NSW.
