Get Ready For Junior Top Guns '09!

The traditional season opener for junior karters is the 2-round Friday night 'Top Guns' series at Oakleigh. With over $700 cash up for grabs in each class ($300 for the series win), plus lots of other prizes, the fields are sure to grow even more than last year.

• Round 1 - Friday January 16 (Track will be open 5pm to 10pm for practice on Thursday 8 Jan and Saturday the 10th.)
• Round 2 - Friday January 23.

Random draw prizes for competitors who run both rounds will include all sorts of karting gear. ARC are providing an ARC motor for Junior Clubman, Dunlop a set of tyres for Midget/Rookie and for Junior National. Concept Karting, along with OGKRC, are providing 2 HJC Helmets and 2 race suits as a random draw for all people who enter both rounds of Top Guns 2009.

Prize money for total points over two rounds in each class:

1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100, 4th $75 & 5th $50

On the practice nights, the club will have the BBQ fired up with a sausage sizzle and soft drinks. Drivers must produce their race licnece on the night (please make sure it is current to save disappointment!) and clear visors for under lights.
