Above & Below: Go Kart Club of Vic member Ran Maclurkin has put together a range of kart engine inspired t-shirts. These are just a few of the designs the TaG driver has created. The "You Can't Kill A Legend" version for the Yamaha S is a goodie, but the one about the Js (above) is the funniest so far.

Above: Bit of work ahead here, fellas... Vic Open, 2009.

Above: Models of Birel karts at a hobby expo in Japan recently. These are petrol-powered radio-controlled rockets.

Above & Below: "My Go-Kart Scrapbook" is a 30-page paperback children's book where 'Ashton' presents his scrapbook all about go-karting. It includes information about the equipment needed plus heaps of pictures. Available through selected bookshops Nationally.

Above: VKA President David Murray presents Blake Scibberas with the green plate at the Vic open - but it was for the National title he won in Juniors in 2008! Now in seniors, young Blake has won both this years Nationals and Victorian Championship in Senior National Light.

Above: Anyone got a bucket of water? Richard Muscut and Aaron Rintoul came together in the final of Clubman Heavy at the Vic Open. With Muscat's kart jammed inside Rintoul's sidepod, it took 5 people and a set of tools (to disassemble part of the kart!) to get the two apart!
