Some Series Websites

A number of Australian karting series will have their own dedicated websites in 2009.

A new site has been established for the Victorian Country Series - www.victoriancountryseries.com

Also, the NSW Premier State Cup has info and online registration on the series' site - www.premierstatecup.com

Vic Country Series update from Series co-ordinator, Trevor Crane - Work has commenced for the 2009 Victorian Country Series. There is the new website for 2009 which has .com on the end replacing the old site which was .org. The site is fully operational with information and photos from the 2008 final round, as well as other information.

Competitors will be able to enter online for the first round. Karters should also register on the mailing list which will give them information each time the site is upgraded.

Classes are currently being determined for the opening round to be held at the Wimmera Kartway on the March Long Weekend, March 7 & 8. Pending the approval at the February meeting of VKA delegates, a 'Sportsman 125' class  on MG Red tyres will be offered. It is anticipated that this will overcome the lack of Leopard and Rotax class entries which was the case in 2008.
