Hryniuk Wins Brian Farley Memorial

Jason Hrynuik  took home the big one at the 2009 Brian Farley Memorial race meeting held at North Shore Kart Club on Saturday 31st January and 1st February. Hryniuk won a trip for 2 to the Gold Coast thanks to Jet Set Blue mountains travel.

The suprise packet of the weekend was Jack Rahaley who finished a very close second and picked up a nice $300 cash from NSKC. Nick Agland made a return to his roots and grabbed a cool $150 cash for finishing 3rd.

The hard luck story of the weekend went to Daniel Holihan who suprised even himself with the pace he showed. Holijhan ran in the top 7 all weekend and qualified in 5th in the first session only to have a coming together in the pre final with Agland causing him to spin and sit helpless in the middle of the track. The enitre field got by except for the last kart which smashed head on into Holihan on the main straight. It was an horrific crash but both drivers walked away unscathed.

Results from the meeting are on mylaps.com HERE (the Junior National Pro Final results are provisional pending a tribunal hearing yet to be held. Some classes do not have times as they where lap scored manually then entered into the timing system).
