The correct schedule for this weekend's Prokart / NKA event is as follows:

  • Sprint and Endurance kart practice today (Friday)
  • Prokart's 7 hour  Endurance race is on Saturday
  • The Inaugral NKA Super Series Sprint Kart events are on Sunday

Inaugural NKA Super Series Event This Weekend at Oran Park

The inaugural Super Series race event this weekend at Oran Park is shaping up to be a winner for karters.  Since openning membership three weeks ago, more than 100 karters have already joined the Series.

Karters will have the opportunity to win trophies and electronic prizes in popular 100cc, 125cc, SS4 classes.  Shifter karts are also back in full force and will enthral the audience as they drive past at over 160kmh. 

Two tracks will be used - the long Super Track and the exhilarating fast Extreme Track. Practice this Friday and sprint racing on Sunday.  For more information visit www.superseries.com.au

Karters will enjoy over 70 kilomteres of track time on race-day. The format includes a 15 minute practice session followed by a 7 minute qualifying session, three x 12km heats and a 15km final.  Discounted race entry of $25 is offered to drivers wishing to compete in a 2nd class.

Pegasus Community Care is the major sponsor of the Super Series, lowering the costs for karters and providing thousands of dollars worth of the latest electronics goods such as TVs, DVDs and cameras etc. Drivers will race for trophies and some classes will have cash bonuses or prizes.  Awards will also be given to the most improved driver and the best presented kart.

The next race is scheduled for Eastern Creek on the 8th March.
