Stoners Win At Tamwoth

Casey Stoner and his dad have taken up sprint karting, both winning their debut AKA meeting at a low-key event at Tamworth on the weekend.

Casey won Senior TaG (his previous racing history meant he didnt need to go through the whole AKA P-plate thing) while father Colin won TaG Restricted, both aboard Monaco/Leopard machines.

As part of his fitness training, Casey rode his pushbike to the track on race morning - that's a 110km journey!

It seems the wrist problem that is threatening his MotoGP season is not an issue for driving a kart.
