Above: Seweryn Szczepanik came from almost the back of the Rotax DD2 grid to finish a brilliant 6th in the final, setting the second best lap of the race. A problem in the pre-final forced the young Polish driver to retire and sacrifice 2nd place for a front row start in the afternoon final.
