2 Green Plates, But Not 1 Chequered Flag

How good is David Sera? The guy didn't win any of the finals at the Nationals, yet he still left Townsville with two National Championship green plates!

At the beginning of Finals day in Townsville, Deadly Dave was, finally, presented with his trophy for 1st place in Leopard Light at the 2007 Nationals. AKA Queensland President Gavin Dicinoski presented David with his trophy as part of the official opening ceremony for the 2009 event.

Then, later in the day, Sera was announced the winner of the pretigious Clubman Light title at Townsville - despite not being the first kart across the line. That honour belonged to Ben Stewart, however, Ben was later demoted to second due to contact in the last corner.
