Statement From Streaming Australia

The AKA Nationals was broadcast live over the internet, but judging by the discussions on the KartBook forum, things didnt quite work out to plan with interuptions throughout the day.

To make matters appear worse, the streaming video from the New Zealand Nationals, which was free, appeared to run faultlessly.

Anyway, Streaming Australia has issued the following statement and is offering refunds to people who had paid and had issues with the Australian broadcast.

STATEMENT FROM STREAMING AUSTRALIA REGARDING NATIONAL KARTING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Streaming Australia would like to make the following statement regarding the video streaming from last weekend’s National Sprint Kart Championships in Townsville, Queensland.

It has become apparent that there may have been some issues for some people who subscribed to the feed from last weekend’s Event and the team at Streaming Australia apologise for these issues.

These issues appear to have developed in between the production crew at the circuit and the delivery of the data to people’s individual computers via the Streaming Australia server.

Last weekend’s Event was the 12th program which has been broadcast by the team at Streaming Australia in the past few months and the first were (sic) issues of this type have been experienced.

Streaming Australia apologises for any inconvenience caused and for any future video feeds being beamed live from a karting event will have staff trackside, rather than relying on third parties to deliver the data, to ensure such an issue doesn’t occur again.

Subscribers who encountered these issues and would like a refund on their payment should contact Streaming Australia at accounts@streamingaustralia.com.au
