Rotax CNC Cylinders

It has come to the attention of IKD that some competitors may be using imported CNC machined cylinders on Rotax engines. These cylinders are designated part number 223994 (Junior) and 223993 (Senior).

Although these cylinders have been conditionally approved for use by the AKA they not eligible for use at AKA race meetings in Australia without the Formula Rotax stamp.

Only engines purchased via IKD will have this stamp on the reed block face and the crank case.

Any engine without the Formula Rotax stamp is ineligible for use at any AKA sanctioned event, including practice at AKA tracks.
