New Track For Melbourne?

Motorsport eNews and local papers in the region are reporting the approval of a feasability study for a new motorsport complex on Melbourne's outer eastern outskirts at Pakenham. The proposed facility could include TWO kart tracks, including one built to international standards.

Several feasability studies have been done for other locations in the region over the past 10 to 15 years, including when the now-defunct Berwick Kart Club was formed.

Drew Price Engineering has contributed a significant amount of the funding to cover this next study which has the approval of Shire of Cardinia, CAMS, Motorcycling Australia, Chisholm Institute, the Pakenham police and Bass MP Ken Smith.
