Superkart Rule Changes

press release

Cams have now officially released bulletins on their website for both our Standing Regulations & Technical Regulations, please take the time to download the documents & become familiar with the changes within our category. Note the implementation dates of both Technical regs & also some of the changes i.e. Rear wheel protection. These have been the most significant changes in many years, where historically we often  see small tweaks to adjust for the times.

The most notable change to our technical regulations is the removal of the 80cc GB & 100cc NGB classes. Other changes are centred around safety issues & a general tidy up of grey area's within the regs. The changes are easily identifiable, they appear in bold & underlined.

I'll take the opportunity of thanking all the SWG members for all their inputs, it's been an interesting process. These new STR's now finalize agenda items that have been pending for the best part of 2.5 years.

I also take this opportunity of welcoming aboard Gary Pegararo onboard the Superkart Working team, he will have shared duties with Jon Crooke representing the state of Victoria.

Should any competitor have any queries please feel free to communicate with the SWG.

Regards
John Pellicano
Chairman Superkart Working group.
