Competition was conducted at Greer Park Raceway on Sunday 24th May for the Budget Used Cars supported classes of Sportsman Heavy, and the older Over 40’s drivers. Competition was fierce in the Heavy division, with Roger Korzeniewski eventually taking out the honours on the day. Greg Cooper won the O/40’s quite comfortably in the end.

Two of the younger brigade in Brendan Nelson and James Whitley, who usually compete in the heavy division, decided to take the lighter drivers on. In spite of giving away a serious weight disadvantage, both drivers shared the points on the day in very close racing. Brendan won the day on countback from James.
