press release

Karting World drivers displayed a strong performance over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of May at Canberra's ACT Titles. Rotax drivers James Horne and Jay Waugh took honours in Rotax Light and Rotax Heavy respectively, with Brinley Gread placing 2nd in the Rotax DD2 class.

Backing these results up at Round 1 of the 2009 Rotax Pro Tour at Newcastle was a win in the Rotax Over 35s for Nicholas Crawshay.  Rotax Heavy driver Todd Davey finished a credible 5th, while James Horne finished 15th in a strong field of Rotax Light. Brinley Gread finished 2nd in DD2 after being baulked in a lapped traffic incident.

It was a successful weekend for the Karting World drivers in competitive fields. The next stop for the Karting World squad is Round 3 of the NSW Premier State Cup held at Sydney's Oran Park Raceway.
