Super Sprint 4s Off To Picton

press release

For the first of two occasions this year; the Powered by Honda ProKart Australia Super Sprint 4’s Go Kart Series will converge at the Picton Karting Track for the battle of the fifth round this Saturday (June 20).

The Super Sprint 4’s Series, which sees both Junior and Senior classes, competitors regard the Picton Karting Track as one of the favourite circuits on the calendar and racing around this circuit is sure to be hard fought from start to finish.

Rick Ward, who runs in the Senior Heavy class, has been the form driver so far this year in the Super Sprint 4’s Series and he is no doubt looking to continue his dominance this Saturday at the 640 metre Picton Karting Track venue.

Making their return to the Super Sprint 4’s Series is the Junior class after a short hiatus and the youngster are very much looking forward to getting back amongst the action and fighting it out for the victory spoils in their respective class.

The round is made up of both practice and qualifying sessions, followed by three heat races, a pre final and the all important final which determines the overall round winner in the respective classes.

Classes that make up the Super Sprint 4’s Series include Senior Heavy (175kg), Senior Light (145kg), Senior Sportsman, Juniors and Junior Sportsman.

Race action is set to begin at 9am and continue through to 5pm. The Picton Karting Track is located at 200 Picton Road, Maldon (near Picton in the Wollondilly Shire of NSW)
