Speedway Karts Attack Nepean This Sunday

It was only two weeks ago, but after the running of the ultra successful AKA Australian Speedway Kart title weekend, the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club returns to the superb Nepean Motorsports complex for round 5 of the 2009 championship season.

The Speedway Kart Grand Prix proudly sponsored by Design Effects will again see the best speedway kart racers attacking the Nepean Motorsports complex. With the series past the half way point, everyone will be out to gain points for the 2009 championship crown.

While the Clubman Heavy division missing on volunteer duties, Midgets, Rookies, Juniors, KT Open (Light & Heavy), Clubman Light and the premier Formula 100 will feature strong line-ups and we can expect to witness another sensational Sunday full of speedway racing action.

The new AKA Australian Speedway Kart title holders, Corey Foyle (Rookies), Kyle Pollock (Junior Light), Matthew Pescod (Junior Heavy), David Boyd (Clubman Light), David Hopping (KT Open Light), Wayne Baines (KT Open Heavy) and Jonathan Bright (Formula 100) will certainly not have an easy day with all the other racers just itching to beat the new title holders. It’s a day not to be missed.

The Nepean Motorsports complex is situated on Rickards Road Castlereagh with racing starting at 10am.
