John Buggy - Funeral Details

The funeral for John Buggy - father of young karters Joshua, Kyle and Maverick - will be held on Monday July 6 at 1:00pm at Saint Anthony's of Padua Church, Sternberg Crescent, Wanniassa, ACT.

Friends and fellow karters are all welcome to attend and pay their respects to John and the Buggy family. Members of the karting community attending will be encouraged to form a guard of honour at the completion of the ceremony.

John lost his life at his workplace on Saturday, 27 June. The Buggy family appreciate the concern and support shown for Tracey, Joshua, Kyle and Maverick and have been overwhelmed with cards and flowers that have been received from karters and karting families across the country.

Tracey would like pass on to the karting community that she and her children are coping day by day with the huge loss of a very special husband, best friend and devoted father. Due to this tragedy Joshua will not be traveling to Queensland for the State Titles this weekend. Being the true champion he is, Joshua will no doubt be back in his kart as time passes.

Tracey would also like to thank each person for all their SMS and phone calls of support from across Australia and thank each and every karter that has sent flowers - plus a special thank you to Troy Hunt for being of such enormous support for the family.
