TaG Super Series, Rnd 3 Eastern Creek

After a couple of glitches the results are in & the points are calculated as of round 3 at Eastern Creek recently.

A big welcome to all the new drivers who joined the series in Round 3. We hope that you enjoyed your racing and will continue racing the series.

Many Thanks to North Shore Kart Club for making timing available for the Super Series Drivers. NSKC officials also need to be thanked for organizing the sealing of the restrictors. I know many competitors were very happy to see this done.

The TaG Restricted Light class once again put on some sensational racing. Chris Ekert broke through to take his first major win of the series winning both the pre final and final. Series front man Croser & round 2 winning Jenkins both pushed hard to finish 2nd and third. Doug Mapperson was the first Over 40’s driver.

A fantastic field of 25 TaG Restricted Heavy drivers were on track for Round 3. Wayne Bower returned to the series for Round 3 and totally dominated precedings. A pole and four wins wrapped up a big chunk of points. But can he catch the ever consistent Alan Austin. A strong second place keeps Austin in the lead for the series. Shane Roberts continued his good form completing the podium.

With some of the big boys MIA for round three, The Heavy field was slimmer than usual. Stephen McLaine continued his dominance of the Super class. Harris and Big D all bagged a bunch of points.

The next Round of the series is at Oran Park on the Super Track. This will be the last opportunity to drive this sensation version of the Oran Park track - so get organized for the 19th September!
