Third place in both 2 hour races in ‘A Grade’ was captured by the consistent # 42 Blind Men Racing team. This was their second podium finish in as many rounds in 2009. The # 81 Toynton Racing team enjoyed a consistent run throughout the round and ended up finishing fifth overall in ‘A Grade’.

The # 76 Grumpy Mongrels Racing team emerged vicarious in the ‘B Grade’ class. Finishing in second and third place overall in the ‘B Grade’ class was # 26 Dodgy Boys Racing and # 7 Sky Racing. Making their first appearance in the TEKA NSW Championship was the # 13 Velocity Racing team and they made a trouble free debut.

In the Briggs & Stratton (B&S) class it was the # 2 Have a Crack Racing team that claimed the overall winning honours and they managed to defeat the # 51 Kinetic Motorsport and # 30 Team XLR8 outfits overall.

Throughout the duel 2 hour events the racing was thick and fast amongst the 28 teams and there were no safety car periods which is a testament to drivers involved in the TEKA NSW Championship.

The seventh and penultimate round of the TEKA NSW Championship is to be held on the weekend of October 24 and 25 at the Pacific Park International Kart Racing circuit in Pot Macquarie (Mid North Coast of NSW). The race format for this round is going to be twin 4 hour races.
