BRM Team Heading To Horsepower Heaven

Steve Pettaras has confirmed that he will be bringing a full force of drivers to the Horsepower Heaven event that commences at the end of next month at Todd Road.

Scott Conolle, who is leading the NSW Northern Zone Leopard series, will be racing Leopard and Formula 100 Light. Grant Dyga will make his debut in the F100 class. Justin Ruggier will dust off his KZ2 chassis for the gearbox class while Pettaras himself will run F100 (Light Over 40s) and KZ2.

Pettaras is also hopeful of having an international driver compete in the KZ2 class. "If we can get approval from the AKA, BRM will bring one of their factory drivers out for this" he informed KartSportNews. "They are interested in racing at this because it is the closest we have to European racing. As KZ2 is a support class I am going to see if the AKA can give the go-ahead to run a European driver." BRM's boss Gianpietro Mascalino is set to attend along with the company's head chassis tuner, Paulo

Pettaras advises that Definitive Racing will have stocks of parts to service TM KZ2 engines at the track.
