Rotax Nationals - Parc Ferme Info

The following is a set of guidelines for all competitors of the 2009 Rotax Nationals, to help introduce them to Parc Ferme. At the 2009 Rotax Nationals, all competition tyres will be impounded for the FULL DURATION of the meeting. - NSKC

    1. Only 1 competitor and 1 pit crew will be allowed into Parc Ferme.
    2. Both Competitors and Pit Crew will need to have their Pit Passes on display to be eligible for entry to Parc Ferme, Pit Passes for Drivers will be issued upon entry confirmation, Pit Passes for Pit Crew will only be issued once a waiver form has been completed.
    3. Parc Ferme will be fenced off and clearly sign posted.
    4. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure their tyres DO NOT leave the Parc Ferme area during the course of the event.
    5. Competitors will be allowed to introduce their own tyre storage bag however it is important that when introducing this into the Parc Ferme area that it is completely empty and open for inspection.
    6. Competitors should ensure that they label anything that is going to be left in the impound area; this includes your wheels and tyre bags.
    7. During the event, competitors are prohibited from bringing any methods/materials for altering tyres, into Parc Ferme. Chemicals of any kind are prohibited; this includes chain lube, cleaning solutions, carburettor cleaners, etc. Drinking fluids (i.e. water, sports drinks etc) may be permitted; the gate attendant may request a drink be taken from the container prior to entry to confirm contents.
    8. Tyres will be available for collection and mounting on Friday 25th September. Competitors will not be permitted to remove tyres from the impound area until the commencement of the event; tyre fitting will be permissible only in the designated area. A time table will be published prior to the event.
    9. Prior to each race/timing session/Sunday warm up, tyres must be collected from the storage tent, competitors and pit crew can then take their tyres to their kart for assembly within the Parc Ferme area. At the completion of the race/timing session/Sunday warm up competitors/pit crews must proceed to the disassembly area of Parc Ferme where they are required to remove their tyres/wheels from the kart and check them back in with the attendant at the storage tent prior to removing their kart from the Parc Ferme area.
    10. Should the meeting be declared wet, competitors will be required to submit 1 set of Wet Tyres into Parc Ferme. Wet tyres once entered into Parc Ferme will be impounded for the duration of the event.
    11. Personal air tanks will not be permitted into the Parc Ferme area during the event.
    12. It is prohibited for competitors or pit crews to receive anything from someone over the fence.
    13. Drivers/Pit Crews must be prepared to have their karts/stand and tool boxes checked on entry to Parc Ferme for prohibited items. It is suggested that only minimal tools be entered into Parc Ferme.
    14. Failure to comply with any of the Parc Ferme Regulations will be referred to the Stewards of the meeting.
