Superkarts Australia Message

Dear Members,

SKA is now looking toward next year to begin developing another Nationals platform for our sport to showcase Superkarting. SKA will be visiting the next Victorian Club meeting to look to establish a fresh approach to making 2010 a strong year for all competitors. I will be present at the October 14 Club meeting to discuss the plans for SKA next year.

SKA, in my view must have all states ideas represented at our November meeting to formulate the best suggestions from all State Clubs as to how best to accommodate the needs of a National title event.

The 2010 plans are to be launched after all nominated state representatives have attended the SKA last meeting for 2009 in Sydney mid November. The thoughts of each Club will be heard before the track and race dates are confirmed. The lateness is so that all Superkart Clubs can put forward any Exec or members ideas. The State representative will be able to report first hand to their Club, as to the future of the 2010 season.

SKA is planning a two round Gearbox class and one round for the non-gearbox class. It will be dependant on the 2010 pre entry numbers on how each round will perform, so I urge where ever possible that those that do plan to race, when the tracks and dates are announced, that pre entry forms, once received, are sent competed as soon as possible.

I would like to thank you all on behalf of the SKA for all of your entry support as well as the people behind the Nationals, which without them, the platform we call our National Event would not be possible.

Clint Brown
Chairman SKA.
