Changes For Leaopard Heavy At Final Shootout

press release

Attention to all non-qualifying Leopard Heavy Competitors

Remo Racing has received a number of enquiries from Leopard Heavy competitors who wish to compete at the Leopard Final Shootout, but did not complete the minimum number of Leopard Challenge Sanctioned Event races to qualify.

We understand that some regions have not been offering the Leopard Heavy class regularly and this has made it difficult for some people to compete in the class. For this reason, and because we want to see the largest, most competitive field possible at the Leopard Final Shootout, Remo Racing has decided to relax the rules for Leopard Heavy competitors who wish to race at the Final Shootout.

We are now accepting entries for the Leopard Final Shootout from ALL Leopard Heavy drivers. However, only those drivers who completed the minimum of three Leopard Challenge events will be eligible to win the major prizes (a Toyota Yaris motorcar drawn at random, 1st, 2nd or 3rd Leopard Heavy prizes).

As an incentive, we will instead offer a $1000.00 voucher for Remo Racing products if a 'non-eligible' competitor finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd major prizes will instead go to the first 'eligible' competitor to cross the finish line. On top of this, all non-eligible Leopard Heavy competitors will still be eligible for the other random prizes drawn at presentation.

We hope that all competitors understand we have made this decision to ensure the best quality field of racers are on show at Horsepower Heaven, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Entries close 23rd October, 2009
