The karting community has been saddened with the news that Marj McKinnon has earlier this week tragically lost her life in a car accident.

Kevin and Marj Mc Kinnon have been tireless helpers for the Victorian Karting Association over many years. Marj was always on hand to help out in anything that the Association was undertaking, be it the Junior Development camps, VKA presentations and the officials schools - anything that was needed she was there to help.

Karters from all across the country will miss her smile, her jokes, her great sense of humour and most of all her friendship, she was loved and admired by all who knew her.

The thoughts of the karting community are with Kevin, Grant, Angela, and Marj’s precious twin granddaughters Amelia & Charlotte at this time.

The Funeral Service and Committal for Cremation for Marj will be held at Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Chapel, 260 Princes Hwy, Traralgon (Country Melways page 342 ref. C10) on WEDNESDAY (Nov. 4, 2009) at 1.30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the McGrath Foundation would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the service.

Members of the karting community are encouraged to wear their club shirts.
