Stampede Action At Nepean Finale

Last Sunday (November 1) the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club hosted the final round of the 2009 championship series, the Parramatta Kart Warehouse “Stampede” meeting and with over 75 of speedway’s best kart racers the action was sensational.

While the day was marred with a couple of incidents, it was the final meeting of the year and everyone was out to make the day a winner. Young Amy Shute was certainly very impressive in the Juniors feature race and held out the pack in scoring a great race victory. Another lady racer Amanda Stacey was also very impressive in her KT Open Heavy feature leading for most of the race. She was certainly showing the guys a thing or two until the last lap her kart went wide in a turn and that was all they needed with Amanda dropping down the order.

In the KT Open Light division Joel Goff was in top form not only winning feature and the round, the young racer also took out the Achievement Award being the highest point scorer on the day.
