Karters To Test Formula Ford

A trio of Victorian karters will test a Formula Ford at Winton this Friday, November 13.

Jack Wynack, Tim Holowell & Jake Spencer will get a run in a Minda Motorsports prepared car. All three have been part of the 2009 Junior Deveopment Team setup by DP Karts owner Craig Holowell.

“All of these drivers have committed themselves this year and as a part of the program they will be rewarded with a test with Minda Motorsport” Holowell said.

Craig added that Jack Wynack has been a stand out this year in Junior Clubman, winning the City of Melbourne titles and showing he has what it takes to advance to bigger things in motorsport.

Tim Holowell has made his intentions very clear from the start of the year that he wants to succeed in motorsport and started the year with a win at the 2009 Junior Top Guns and has impressed since moving to seniors only 4 weeks ago.

Jake Spencer, who works part time at DP Karts, has only done limited racing this year due to study but has made sure he has let both DP Karts and Minda Motorsport know he is ready to take the next step in his motorsport career after winning a South Australian State Title and Victorian State Title.
