With the recent rain just on our racedays, those drivers looking to improve their club championship point scores have been disappointed, with our last 2 events being washed out.

The results from Round 7 which was declared due to the rain are -

Midgets - 1st-Kyle Angel, 2nd-James Peters, 3rd-David Blanch
Rookies - 1st-Faith Lewis
Juniors - 1st-Reagan Angel, 2nd-Nikki Briton, 3rd-Amy Shute
Clubman Light - 1st-Brad King, 2nd-Daniel Morris, 3rd-Mitch Brien
Clubman Heavy - 1st-Marty Watson, 2nd-Matthew Bond, 3rd-Grant Lahiff
Clubman Over 40 - 1st-Stuart Bond, 2nd-Gary Slarke, 3rd-Greg Paul
Clubman Ladies - 1st-Sharon Gillespie
KT Modified - 1st-Rod Sievwright, 2nd-Les Green, 3rd-Sean Dicker
Hard Luck Award recipient - Natalie Genner (Clubman Light), sponsored by the Bailey family

So that just leaves one more race date on our Calendar - Round 9 - Sunday 29th November. We look forward to welcoming all those drivers who are hanging out for their last run for the year.

Two weeks later we then have our Annual Presentation Picnic Day on Sunday 13 December starting around 10am at Heazlett Park, Avoca Beach. Bookings for this are required by 6th December. Remember Club members are free ! but family and friends are more than welcome for just $5 each. A great lunch will be provided with drinks, as well as other gifts/prizes, swimming, paddle boats etc.

Don't forget that all club members can vote on the various end of season Awards & Trophies too. This needs to be done by the 29th November as well. Forms will be available at our last race-day, or it can be done directly on-line.

The 2010 race calendar is now available for all those wanting to make plans as well.
