Luciani & Piper Team For Enduro

Remo Luciani and Shayne Piper will team together at the TIMC Enduro at Todd Road this weekend. The pair will be using the new Monaco X1-30 chassis and Parilla X30 engine. Remo was at the circuit on the weekend, running-in a new out-of-the-box motor.

The Luciani/Piper combo will be aiming for first place in the Masters category, but could also be a serious contender for outright honours.

"We decided to team up together because we are both over 40 and have experience" Remo said. "Shayne is lighter and I am heavier so its a good combined weight. We have both won Australian Championship titles so we know what is required to win."

"Shayn's ability and my ability are equal; I understand chassis set-up and he understands engines. Both of us are fit and up to the task of completing the four-and-a-half hours in our age group. We will certainly give those young fellas a run for their money!"

The IAME X30 uses a counter balance shaft to eliminate vibrations and comes complete with Tryton carburettor with adjustable jets. Pipe length can be adjusted for tight or long circuits to fine tune the engine.

IAME said that the X30 is their biggest selling engine and takes up 60% of their engine production. The motor has been extremely successful in France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal and Brazil. It has recently been competing in TaG-Restricted in Australia and will be in use in the new Junior Performance category at Oakleigh's Junior Top Guns meetings in January.

The IAME X30 engine is available through all reputable kart shops in Australia and New Zealand. Visit www.remoracing.com.au for more info.
