A WA Karter Gauranteed Rotax World Final Slot

Western Australian karters are being given the opportunity to compete at the 2010 Rotax World Final without leaving their home state.

IKD is currently planning a series for Rotax classes running on MOJO tyres to be held in WA and the winner of the series in the Rotax Light class will be offered the opportunity to race at this prestigious 2010 Rotax Max Challenge World Final.

“This is great news for West Australians, details such as dates and tracks for the series will be announced shortly and I am sure this will be a great success” announced Ian Black from IKD. “It is the first time ever that West Australians can have a reasonable chance of being invited to the World Final without having to travel interstate.”

The West Australian allocation will be the only seat that is not offered via the National Rotax Rankings scheme. “WA is so far away that it is not reasonable to expect that someone who lives over there can compete at the Rotax Pro Tour on a regular basis so it is only fair that we allocate a position to the
WA Rotax Max Challenge as well” commented Ian.

This is sure to generate a lot of interest within WA for Rotax and details will be announced shortly of a special sales program to further assist drivers wishing to race a Rotax in 2010.

Stay tuned for more exciting Rotax racer announcements... the wheels are in motion!
