press release

2010 wsk organisational machine is getting underway. It is just with the logistic arrangements that the WSK Promotion starts planning 2010 world tour. Increasing travel requirements necessitate different arrangements more in line with the very well known Motorsport championships. It’s just to meet such needs that the WSK Promotion has planned an organization for travelling outside the Continent.

Worldwide logistics for the WSK. Arrangements have been made in collaboration with Sel, a leading company from Turin specializing in logistics for major sporting events. The teams will enjoy the opportunity to take on board their material at once, and travel both by ship or plane at contained cost. The same company moreover, will deal with the necessary custom clearance. Similarly, it can be arranged the staff travel in groups and by charter flights expressly provided for them. Ultimately, planning such a package, the WSK Promotion can offer smaller and bigger teams the substantial logistic opportunity to cut the rise in both labour and costs that a move across the Atlantic involves. For this reason, the solution Sel has conceived allows to achieve a very important goal: the chance to equalize the economic charge of an event outside Europe with that of a continental WSK Euro Series round.

Summer round the world. The WSK Promotion therefore, is in line with the World Rally Championship, the MotoGP and the Superbike and FIM Motocross World Championships, that as for the logistic arrangements already avail themselves of the services the company Sel provides. Thus, it is preparing the way for the American Race, that will be the first event of the WSK World Series in the United States, scheduled on the circuit Tempest in Millville (New Jersey) on August 1st. The American round follows the European Race representing the championship’s opening on the Portuguese circuit in Portimao, on July 3rd. Three months later, the event closing the first karting World Series, the African Race, is scheduled on October 31st, on the circuit Ghibli in Sharm el Sheik, Egypt.
