Rotax Super Heavy For Canberra

The Canberra Kart Racing Club will be running a Rotax Super Heavy class at its meeting on January 24.

“We are excited to be able to offer a super heavy class for those drivers not able to compete against the Rotax Heavy 180kg drivers” CKRC President Bruce Otter informed KartSportNews.

The class will be running at 200kg with karts to be weighed at no more than 100kg.

“(This will be) a good addition to the CKRC racing program and is finally a class to suit us big boys of karting” said Rotax Super Heavy Driver Greg Williams.

Canberra is rather unique in that the club runs a full card of stand-alone Rotax classes - Rotax Light, Rotax Heavy, Rotax Super Heavy, Jnr Max, Rotax Restricted & Open Performance – Including DD2s.
