Indy 500 Winner To Race Arrow

2005 Indianapolis 500 winner Daniel Wheldon is set to campaign a number of kart races this year and will drive an Arrow for US importer BTK Motorsports.

“Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t take something on unless I think I can win,” Wheldon said. “And when you take my experience on the track and pair it with the experience of the guys at BTK, Arrow and Bridgestone, it certainly feels like a winning combination to me.”

Wheldon also admits that getting back to his roots at 31 year of age feels particularly sweet. “I couldn’t say no to an opportunity to race with some of the best up and coming talent out there,” he explained. “Those kids are keeping me on my toes…and that is not something that I take lightly.”
