Trans-West Continues Support of CIK Stars of Karting

press release

Trans-West Insurance Brokers will continue its support of karting in Australia by partnering with the CIK Stars of Karting Series in 2010.

As an Australian owned and licensed Insurance Broker, Trans-West Insurance Brokers have been offering insurance and risk management services to commercial and industrial organisations since 1979.

The partnership with the CIK Stars of Karting Series is a continuation of the support shown by Managing Director Sam Sofi and his team to not only karting but Australian motorsport as a whole.

“At Trans-West we are proud to once again be associated with the elite level of karting in Australia,” said Sofi.

“I’ve always been a firm believer in the fact that if we can have an elite level in the sport it encourages more people to get involved in karting at all levels which can only be a good thing for everyone.

“I’ve been involved in karting for over two decades now, at both a personal and corporate level, and I’m proud to be associated in a sport that encourages strong family values while providing people with an opportunity to develop their skills.”

Trans-West Insurance Brokers have specific products for motorsport competitors to protect their assets including a karting, transporter or motorsport package along with various office and business packages.

The CIK Stars of Karting Series will kick off in Newcastle on March 5-7. It will incorporate the Australian CIK Championships for the Pro Light (KF1), Pro Gearbox (KZ2) and Pro Junior (KF3) categories, plus support classes for Clubman and Junior National categories. The winner of the Clubman class across the four rounds will also receive a trip to the All Japan Kart Championships later in the year courtesy of the Yamaha Motor Company.
