TaG-R Class At CIK Opener

Some changes have been made to the Restricted TaG support class at the CIK Stars of Karting opener at Newcastle.

The TaG Restricted class will run 3 different weights (Light, Heavy & Super Heavy) on the track at the same time. Karts will grid up where they qualify as one group, regardless of weight. P-platers will still start at rear of field.

"We regularly run this type of group at Newcastle and it makes for great racing and is preferred by the drivers" the club's Mitchell Tate informed KartSportNews.

TaG Restricted 125 Light:   160kg
TaG Restricted 125 Heavy:   180kg (max kart weight 100kg)
TaG Restricted 125 Super Heavy:  200kg (max kart weight 100kg)
